TL;DR
Product Manager (Geotechnical Sensors): Managing the full lifecycle of in-situ probes and sensor products with an accent on mechatronics, sensor integration, and geotechnical service delivery. Focus on driving product vision, prioritizing backlogs, and translating complex market needs into business cases to ensure operational reliability.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from Nootdorp, Netherlands (Hybrid policy applies).
Salary: €5,880 – €6,945 per month.

What you will do
- Articulate the product and technology vision for marine geotechnical sensors throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Define product requirements and manage backlogs in collaboration with design, innovation, and operations teams.
- Validate assumptions through user stories and steering development priorities.
- Translate client needs and market trends into robust business cases.
- Monitor fabrication and innovation budgets while reporting on project progress.
- Drive continuous product improvement using agile practices and direct client feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management for integrated systems or technology/asset management.
- Passion for mechatronics and small sensor technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills for managing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with geotechnical investigation standards ISO22476-1 and ISO19901-8 is a significant advantage.
