Middle Data engineer remote | remote
We are Qatar Insurance Company (#QIC), the leading insurance provider in GCC since 1964. Our vision is to make the first Digital Ecosystem in the region by combining insurance and non-insurance services in one platform.
Currently, we are looking for a Middle Data Engineer who has building scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in a cloud-native GCP environment.
Ideal candidate:
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong experience using GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataform)
• Advanced skills in Python and Apache Airflow
• English B2+
What we offer
• Long-term service agreement contract with QIC
• Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday
• Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 workdays of vacation, and 10 sick-day-offs
• Performance reviews are conducted twice a year
• Probation period – 3 months
• Digital Nomad support
