What you will do

• Lead and support a cross‑functional squad that includes software engineers and quality engineers.
• Provide technical leadership through guidance on architecture, troubleshooting, and solution design.
• Support the team by reviewing code, debugging issues, and helping remove technical blockers.
• Mentor engineers, encourage best practices, and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑quality team culture.
• Partner with the Engineering Manager to align delivery, priorities, and overall team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software engineering in production environments.
• Hands‑on full‑stack experience using Angular, Ruby on Rails, and AWS in cloud‑based production systems.
• Experience leading, supporting, and developing engineers, including prior responsibility for direct reports.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to read, write, and troubleshoot code.
• Experience supporting, operating, and improving production systems.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to mentor others, manage multiple priorities, and approach complex problems thoughtfully.
