We are looking for a Product-Minded Engineer to join our lean backend team and lead a major technological evolution. We value architectural influence over just "closing tickets."
• Event-Driven: Shifting to NATS for high-performance messaging.
• Scaling: Optimizing architecture.
What you will do:
• Design and implement scalable microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Lead the "decomposition" of the monolith into a resilient service-oriented architecture.
• Implement event-driven logic via NATS/Kafka.
• Collaborate directly with the CTO and Product teams to align tech with business growth.
Our expectations:
• 5+ years of commercial Java development.
• Proven experience in decomposing monoliths into microservices (not just theory).
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and data consistency.
• Experience with NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Soft Skills: a "Business Owner" mindset - you care about the "why" behind the code and can explain technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Languages: Fluent English (B2+) and Russian.
