TL;DR

Embedded HW/SW Developer (IoT): Developing embedded hardware and software for phone wireless charging solutions with an accent on schematic design, PCB layout, and debugging. Focus on supporting the definition of new solutions in accordance with the Qi standard and customer expectations.

Location: Must have a valid visa and work permit to work in Czech Republic. Work in two locations – Brno or Rožnov.

What you will do

  • Develop embedded hardware for phone wireless charging solutions, including schematic design and PCB layout.
  • Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, and failure investigations.
  • Program embedded systems in C, using Python where appropriate.
  • Support the definition of new solutions and hardware requirements in accordance with the Qi standard.
  • Cooperate with internal development teams and external partners.
  • Provide support to customers during their product development based on NXP solutions.

Requirements

  • English language proficiency (spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong R&D orientation and teamwork capability.
  • 7+ years of experience in embedded hardware and software development.
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of MCU architectures and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with solution development processes, hardware requirements, and documentation practices.

Nice to have

  • Experience in power conversion applications.
  • Experience with circuit simulations, benchmarking, AUTOSAR, hands-on laboratory work, and basic EMC design principles.
