About the Role
You will conduct transaction screening, monitoring, investigations, and Suspicious Transaction/Activity reporting across regulated products and regions. You will evaluate internal controls, recommend solutions for identified risks, and use analytical techniques and systems to assess transaction patterns. You will develop standard processes and tools for monitoring and investigations, work with Compliance Technology to improve detection tools, and use data and software to prevent and detect AML/OFAC and other unlawful activity.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands on AML transaction monitoring and investigations experience
- Experience collaborating with partners across technical and non-technical groups
- Experience defining requirements for AML transaction monitoring and detection of suspicious activity
Responsibilities
- Conduct transaction screening, monitoring, investigations, and Suspicious Transaction/Activity reporting across all regulated lines of business and regions
- Perform periodic evaluation of internal controls and recommend solutions for identified risks
- Use a variety of analytical techniques and systems to make informed decisions on detected transaction patterns
- Work independently with minimal direction
- Develop standard processes and tools for effective transaction monitoring and investigations of unusual activity
- Collaborate with Compliance Technology teams to improve monitoring tools for efficient detection of suspicious activity, patterns, and trends
- Use data and software tools to prevent and detect AML/OFAC risk and other unlawful activity
