What you will do

• Build a team of AI-native forward-deployed engineers and designers, setting technical standards and investing in each engineer's growth.
• Define architecture patterns for AI agents and client products, reviewing code and making build vs. buy decisions.
• Ensure the team delivers excellent work, scoping technical feasibility early and solving complex problems.
• Turn client projects into reusable capabilities, creating templates and modules for future engagements.
• Run prioritization cycles, allocating capacity across client pods and balancing client requests with system improvements.

Requirements

• Technical leader who still codes and can architect AI agents, debug production issues, and review PRs.
• Product thinker who understands client problems, proposes solutions, and ships products that work.
• Experienced people manager who has built and led engineering teams, knowing how to hire, give feedback, and terminate when needed.
• Client-facing capable, comfortable with ambiguity and able to translate client needs into projects.
• AI-native with experience building with LLMs and understanding prompting, context windows, and agent architectures.
• High bar on output quality, able to review and refactor AI-generated code.

Nice to have

• Experience leading forward-deployed or professional services engineering teams.
• Experience building production AI agents or LLM systems.
• Shipped products end-to-end, not just features within a product.
• Experience in developer tools, GTM tech, or B2B SaaS.
• Contributed to or maintained open-source projects.
• Agency or consulting background with high-touch client delivery.
