Business Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Fintech): Developing and maintaining the "CMIplus" anchor product and a group-wide real-time payment hub with an accent on OpenAPI integration and corporate cash management processes. Focus on bridging business needs and technical implementation by translating requirements into feature stories and ensuring high-quality delivery across CEE markets.

Location: Based in Austria (Hybrid), with 30 days/year remote work allowed from any EU country.

Salary: Starting at EUR 60,000 gross p.a.

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and translate customer needs into actionable requirements.
• Cooperate with software and test engineers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
• Manage the end-to-end payment lifecycle for large corporate clients across CEE countries.
• Support test case design, define acceptance criteria, and assist in UAT activities.
• Act as a bridge between non-technical business units and technical development teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English required for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong professional experience in business analysis or requirement engineering.
• Experience in the financial or banking sector with knowledge of payment formats.
• IT-related educational background or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work from Austria (with hybrid/remote options available).

Nice to have

• Experience in testing of applications and APIs.
• Programming or scripting skills.
• Proficiency in German or CEE regional languages.
