What you will do
- Manage full-cycle marketing expense accounting, including accruals, prepaids, and vendor reconciliations.
- Drive budget governance by monitoring spend against approvals and proactively identifying risks or overages.
- Design and implement automated, scalable processes to improve the procure-to-pay cycle.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and local GAAP, as well as SOX internal control requirements.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure accurate financial classification and contract adherence.
- Support financial audits by maintaining rigorous documentation and data integrity.
Requirements
- 10–12 years of progressive accounting or controllership experience in high-growth or public companies.
- CA or CPA certification is required.
- Expertise in accrual accounting and period-end financial closing processes.
- Experience with enterprise ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence cross-functional business partners.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and financial discipline in international environments.
