What you will do

• Manage full-cycle marketing expense accounting, including accruals, prepaids, and vendor reconciliations.
• Drive budget governance by monitoring spend against approvals and proactively identifying risks or overages.
• Design and implement automated, scalable processes to improve the procure-to-pay cycle.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and local GAAP, as well as SOX internal control requirements.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure accurate financial classification and contract adherence.
• Support financial audits by maintaining rigorous documentation and data integrity.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of progressive accounting or controllership experience in high-growth or public companies.
• CA or CPA certification is required.
• Expertise in accrual accounting and period-end financial closing processes.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence cross-functional business partners.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial discipline in international environments.
