TL;DR

UI/UX Designer (Gamedev): Designing and developing intuitive game interfaces for a mobile life simulator with an accent on Unity integration, design systems, and cross-platform usability. Focus on building high-quality UI assets, creating interactive prototypes, and implementing interfaces directly into Unity UGUI.

Location: Almaty (Hybrid or Onsite).

What you will do

  • Design and develop game interfaces for mobile platforms.
  • Create interactive prototypes and implement UI in Unity UGUI.
  • Prepare layouts and assets for implementation.
  • Design icons and create animations for UI elements.
  • Maintain technical documentation and conduct product research.
  • Collaborate with the team to own UI/UX feature development.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in the game industry.
  • Professional proficiency with Figma and Photoshop.
  • Experience working with design systems, Atomic Design, and design tokens.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and game UI specifics.
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android design guidelines.
  • Ability to explain and justify design decisions.

Nice to have

  • Experience using AI tools for design tasks.
  • Skills in animation software like After Effects, Spine, or HTML5.
  • Knowledge of localization processes.
  • Understanding of PC and console UI guidelines.
