What you will do

• Deliver production-quality Rust backend code across functional domains including platforms, electors, and reporting.
• Participate in an AI-assisted development workflow using Claude Code to evolve the project framework.
• Contribute to establishing CI/CD foundations, infrastructure-as-code practices, and documentation.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and code reviews.
• Support knowledge transfer to client engineering teams throughout the project engagement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience with at least 4 years specifically in Rust.
• Must be based in the European Union.
• Strong background in building backend systems including core domain models and API design.
• Experience with spec-driven development and CI/CD pipeline infrastructure.
• Security-conscious approach to development suitable for systems handling sensitive data.
• Proven experience working in agile, sprint-based delivery teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with electoral, government, or regulated domain systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code or Copilot.
