What you will do

• Define and maintain centralized data models, semantic layers, and reporting standards.
• Lead the evolution of the analytics environment toward code-first, scalable solutions.
• Govern BI platform administration, including performance, security, and permissions.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align analytics with infrastructure goals.
• Enable data literacy across the organization through documentation, training, and workshops.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and advise on strategic tooling decisions.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Rotterdam for hybrid work.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in data analysis.
• Strong expertise in Power BI and dbt for data modeling.
• Proficiency in designing KPI and OKR-driven reporting frameworks.
• Solid communication skills for working with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Understanding of data performance optimization and analytics governance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation for BI tools (PowerShell, REST APIs).
• Familiarity with alternative tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Dutch language skills.
