What you will do

• Source and acquire content from distributors across the globe for linear and on-demand services.
• Work on channel brands including Dave, Alibi, and BBC Earth, as well as streaming brands.
• Negotiate complex deals across multiple territories.
• Work closely with editorial stakeholders across BBCS and hirify.global, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Be the expert in the team for channels and streaming services outside of the UK.
• Line management of two Global Acquisitions Executives and an Acquisitions Assistant.

Requirements

• Team player who enjoys collaboration and supports others.
• Extensive acquisitions and negotiation experience with key UK distributors.
• Strong knowledge of programme rights and terms.
• Adaptable and resilient, able to cope with the pressure of managing a high volume of work and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong communicator who can get their point across effectively and is confident in managing expectations.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the international content market.
