Fullstack Software Engineer (AI-powered)

TL;DR

Fullstack Software Engineer (AI-powered): Developing and maintaining Next.js frontends and contributing to backend services (Nest.js, Python) for an online one-stop shop for legal, accounting, and tax services with an accent on automation, smart user experiences, and advanced AI systems. Focus on migrating legacy apps, prototypes & experiments from no-code tools, and delivering fullstack features E2E.

Location: Must be based in Zurich area or willing to relocate with EU/EFTA citizenship to work in our Zurich office by default

What you will do

• Focus on developing & maintaining Next.js frontends.
• Migrate legacy apps, prototypes & experiments from no-code tools.
• Contribute to backend services (Nest.js, python).
• Deliver fullstack features E2E.
• Take ownership of problems to solve across their lifecycle: from idea through specifications to development, testing, release, monitoring & improvements.
• Engage in collaborative fast moving team environment for code reviews and design discussions.

Requirements

• EU/EFTA citizenship.
• Based in Zurich area or willing to relocate.
• 2–5 years of experience working within the TypeScript ecosystem.
• Solid hands-on experience with Next.js.
• A strong focus on code quality - you write highly maintainable, well-tested software.
• A good eye for design: even without a Figma file, you’re comfortable crafting beautiful GUIs that look and feel right.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

Nice to have

• Experience with a subset of the following: TDD, DDD, MongoDB, Vercel & AWS.
