TL;DR
Founding AI Platform Engineer (MLOps/Backend): Architecting and owning the infrastructure for ML and GenAI systems with an accent on reliability, scalability, and seamless deployment. Focus on building production-grade CI/CD pipelines, observability frameworks, and robust serving infrastructure to bridge the gap between AI development and production stability.
Location: Remote. Must be based in London, Limassol, Tbilisi, or Yerevan.

What you will do
- Build and maintain infrastructure and tooling for training, evaluating, and deploying ML models and GenAI services.
- Own production services, APIs, and pipelines powering recommendations and agent workflows.
- Improve CI/CD release workflows, testing, and environment management.
- Establish observability across service health, model behavior, latency, and cost.
- Build reproducibility practices for models, prompts, datasets, and configurations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive long-term engineering improvements.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with experience operating production systems.
- Expertise in backend services, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, testing, and observability.
- Strong Python skills across infrastructure and operational workflows.
- Experience collaborating with ML and product teams to deliver ambiguous, complex work.
- Strong judgment regarding performance, maintainability, and cost tradeoffs.
Nice to have
- Experience with MLOps workflows for model lifecycle management.
- Experience serving LLM applications in production or working with vector-backed systems.
- Experience supporting customer-facing APIs or SaaS platform infrastructure.
- Experience with experimentation platforms and analytics instrumentation.
