2D Artist (Game Art)

What you will do

• Create 2D assets including characters, environments, icons, UI elements, and promotional artwork.
• Develop cohesive visual styles based on project art direction and brand identity.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure visuals support gameplay and readability.
• Prepare layered, optimized files for animation and in-engine integration.
• Iterate on concepts and final assets through feedback loops while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Contribute to mood boards, concept sketches, and style explorations for new projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a 2D Artist in the games industry.
• Strong portfolio featuring game-related environments, characters, UI, and other artwork.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar digital painting and vector tools.
• Understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Experience working within production pipelines, meeting deadlines, adapting to different art styles, and collaborating clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with outsourcing or co-development studios.
• AAA game experience.
