TL;DR

C++ Developer (NAS Backup): Developing NAS backup functionality for hirify.global Backup & Replication with an accent on efficient data processing algorithms in a multithreaded environment. Focus on development of data storage formats, integrations with cloud services, and implementation of network protocols and APIs between system components.

Location: Remote. A remote job is only possible in case the employee is located in the Czech Republic.

What you will do

• Development and implementation of efficient data processing algorithms in a multithreaded environment
• Development of data storage formats and integrations with cloud services
• Implementation of network protocols and APIs between system components
• Optimization and finalization of the current functionalities of the VBR product

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with commercial development
• Strong knowledge of C++ and the STL
• Experience in developing multithread applications
• Knowledge of algorithms (data storage structure)
• English proficiency for daily communication within international teams

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience with system APIs (WinAPI or posix)
• Experience developing on the Linux platform or a willingness to learn
• Network programming
• Experience in using AI-powered tools
• Knowledge of C#
