What you will do

• Prepare actionable briefings and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
• Identify research initiatives that drive high-impact decision-making regarding AI safety and strategy.
• Monitor global trends in AI development and their implications for international security and governance.
• Produce high-quality research memos and risk analyses on complex technical and policy topics.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional research projects focusing on AGI governance and safety.
• Cultivate relationships with external domain experts and internal stakeholders through working groups.

Requirements

• PhD or MA with equivalent research experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in governance, policy, or strategy research.
• Deep knowledge of the technical AI landscape and historical policy-making precedents.
• Strong expertise in at least one relevant domain such as geopolitics, forecasting, economics, or technical safety.
• Exceptional professional communication and synthesis skills for complex material.
• Capacity to work collaboratively across diverse research fields and technical domains.

Nice to have

• Technical expertise in machine learning, AGI safety, or security.
• Experience in quantitative forecasting methods.
