What you will do

  • Package software using Nix and Debian for various distribution targets.
  • Manage PostgreSQL lifecycles including major, minor, and extension upgrades.
  • Develop and expand self-service platform release systems for internal teams.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and team-specific infrastructure tooling.
  • Resolve complex production issues across customer deployments.
  • Maintain best practices and automated tests to reduce deployment risks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, its ecosystem, extensions, and performance optimization.
  • Proven expertise in infrastructure management, tooling, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in Nix package management (including flakes), Ansible, Packer, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience building for multiple architectures (Linux, macOS aarch64).
  • Comfort working in polyglot environments including C/C++, Go, JavaScript, and Rust.
  • Clear communication skills and experience working in async, globally distributed teams.
