Associate Director, Lab Operations

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Boston, MA.

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Scale the Lab Operations team and evangelize efficient collaboration across the organization.
• Define and monitor KPIs to track program effectiveness and organizational research goals.
• Partner with research, hardware, and product leaders to manage team resources and evaluate project tradeoffs.
• Oversee daily facilities management, participant recruitment, and research infrastructure.
• Establish strong communication channels between research execution and operational teams.
• Build and promote the hirify.global Labs brand internally and externally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in research operations or program management, preferably in health, research, or hardware product environments.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Data-driven approach to strategic planning and performance tracking.
• Experience navigating ethical standards for human subjects research, including PII/PHI.
• Must be able to work onsite in Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with IRB submissions.
• Knowledge of clinical regulatory guidance.
• Familiarity with GDPR compliance.
