What you will do

• Design and train deep learning models to extract insights from massive repositories of time-series biosensor data.
• Validate and maintain algorithms for regulated health features ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Optimize and fine-tune models (including Foundation AI) for deployment in production, balancing computational resources and real-time constraints.
• Build and enhance data pipelines, validation tools, and monitoring systems for ML services.
• Collaborate across teams including Data Science and Firmware to translate research prototypes into scalable inference systems.
• Mentor team members on machine learning engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• 5+ years of ML engineering experience (4+ for Master’s, 2+ for PhD).
• Strong understanding of ML and DL fundamentals with an emphasis on mathematical intuition.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Deep experience with time-series data and signal processing concepts.
• Must be able to work onsite in Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulated or high-risk ML systems such as software as a medical device (SaMD).
• Experience deploying ML inference systems at scale and using cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Experience training, fine-tuning, or deploying Foundation AI models.
