• Oversee the entire production process for Japanese subculture-inspired character artwork and illustrations.
• Maintain high artistic quality standards through rigorous inspection and feedback cycles.
• Manage production schedules and project timelines to ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Coordinate and supervise external outsourcing partners to expand production capacity.
• Lead and mentor the character art team to drive creative excellence and internal cohesion.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in character design and illustration.
• Proven ability to translate planning documents into unique, engaging character designs.
• Expertise in diverse art styles and subculture-focused content trends.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to drive team enthusiasm and project goals.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Pangyo office.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a character art department.
