What you will do

• Prototype and deploy sharp, user-focused products for scientific workflows.
• Develop lightweight applications, including chat interfaces, dashboards, and experiment planners.
• Collaborate with ML researchers to define telemetry and signals that guide model performance.
• Own the full technical stack from API design to frontend implementation and observability.
• Work directly alongside materials scientists to identify bottlenecks and build proactive solutions.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Menlo Park, CA.
• Strong background in full-stack engineering with experience in building end-to-end products.
• Ability to iterate quickly based on direct feedback from internal and external users.
• Experience working with AI/ML models or scientific data pipelines.
• Proven capability to manage the full engineering lifecycle from schema to deployment.
