Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Madrid (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day home)

What you will do

• Design logic to convert complex transactional events into daily General Ledger postings.
• Build capabilities for real-time projected balance sheet visibility to facilitate intramonth FX hedging.
• Manage technical complexity of multi-entity group consolidation and functional currency translation.
• Bridge gaps between Treasury and Accounting by replacing manual workarounds with automated architecture.
• Identify and isolate translation and transaction risks within sub-ledgers.
• Ensure systems accurately map data from proprietary engines into ERP environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Systems, Accounting Technology, or GL Management.
• Deep understanding of Chart of Accounts, sub-ledgers, and ERP integration with proprietary engines.
• Expertise in multi-entity consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and FX exposure management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/Local GAAP standards regarding foreign currency translation.
• Ability to audit existing financial workflows and design superior automated systems.
• Must be able to work from the Madrid office on a hybrid schedule.
