TL;DR

Help Desk Specialist (IT Support): Providing Tier 1 and 2 technical support for a financial firm with an accent on hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Focus on managing IT assets, user permissions, and maintaining cloud-based application security.

Location: Onsite in Miami, FL

What you will do

  • Provide Tier 1 & 2 technical support via email, phone, and ticketing systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Manage IT assets, user accounts, and access permissions in Active Directory and Google Workspace.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems.
  • Support cloud environments including Azure, Intune, and Office 365.
  • Educate users on IT security best practices and monitor potential threats.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Must work onsite 5 days/week in Miami, FL.
  • Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux troubleshooting.
  • Experience with network fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Azure, Intune, and Ivanti.

Nice to have

  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Administrator.
  • Experience with enterprise security tools including firewalls and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
