What you will do

• Lead end-to-end development of production-grade ML targeting models to improve user engagement and paid feature adoption.
• Define and own the technical roadmap for ML within the Growth Product Group, aligning with company-wide priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to accelerate AI development.
• Design and implement systems focused on availability, scalability, and operational excellence for ML workloads.
• Mentor ML engineers on current research, best practices, and scalable machine learning techniques.
• Ensure ethical and responsible AI usage while maintaining compliance with privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work in New York City
• 5+ years of experience as an MLE, with at least 2 years in a senior or staff-level role.
• Deep expertise in Python and PyTorch with a track record of deploying production-grade ML systems.
• Strong background in system design including containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• 4+ years of experience working in cloud environments like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with large datasets and streaming pipelines using tools like Airflow or Argo.

Nice to have

• Experience with causal inference, uplift modeling, and interventional data collection.
• Familiarity with ML serving solutions like Ray, KubeFlow, or Weights & Biases.
• Background in User Growth or Monetization product areas.
