What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term data strategy, operating model, and team structure for a multi-team product group.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, AI, and Research leadership to drive product strategy through data-informed insights.
• Evolve experimentation and measurement frameworks to balance short-term behavioral metrics with long-term user success.
• Oversee the development of shared data systems, models, and analytics infrastructure.
• Synthesize cross-team signals to proactively influence product roadmaps and strategic trade-offs.
• Build, coach, and scale a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in data science or analytics.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing data science teams.
• Deep expertise in product analytics, experimentation, and user behavior modeling.
• Technical fluency in Python and SQL with the ability to guide technical direction.
• Proven track record in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work from the New York office on a hybrid schedule.
