What you will do

• Create accurate and realistic environment models based on 2D reference, previs, and photogrammetry.
• Ensure models meet strict technical requirements for downstream departments including FX, Shaders, DMP, and Layout.
• Manage the complexity of large environment builds and implement effective asset instancing.
• Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality assets under tight production deadlines.
• Utilize Linux-based workflows for daily tasks.
• Communicate effectively and solve complex modeling challenges.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to relocate to Melbourne, Australia.
• Impressive reel demonstrating organic and environment models with clean, efficient topology.
• Proven professional experience with Maya in a production environment.
• Experience with Mudbox, Blender, or ZBrush.
• Strong understanding of photogrammetry processing, remeshing, and map extraction.
• Familiarity with Linux desktop and system commands.

Nice to have

• Experience with procedural modelling techniques using Houdini, Gaea, or World Machine.
• Scripting proficiency in MEL or Python.
