Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid role)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000

What you will do

• Ensure health, reliability, and SLA compliance of hirify.global Cloud services.
• Implement infrastructure tooling, observability, and automation strategies.
• Handle production incidents and customer escalations within high-impact environments.
• Debug operational issues at the system level using Linux and Kubernetes expertise.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and provide off-hours support.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve technical roadblocks and provisioning requests.

Requirements

• Proven expertise with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes infrastructure (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Programming skills in Python, Go, or Groovy.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Kibana, or Prometheus.

Nice to have

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Certified Cloud Administrator (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and capabilities.
