Graduate Product Engineer

TL;DR

Graduate Product Engineer: Supporting the operations team by developing test, reliability, and production processes for mixed-signal SOCs in the consumer market with an accent on reliability strategy & execution, test & production. Focus on hardware solutions for reliability stressing and detailed data analysis to support IC product qualification.

Location: Must be based within commutable distance of Edinburgh, Scotland, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment.

What you will do

• Drive mixed signal IC product development, creating solutions for reliability strategy & execution, test & production.
• Develop hardware solutions for reliability stressing.
• Manage New Product ramp from production planning to execution.
• Collaborate with key engineering groups to ensure that products can be efficiently manufactured, are reliable, competitive and meet the customers’ requirements
• Drive detailed data analysis to support IC product qualification, test and production.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Possess a basic understanding of statistics and data analysis
• Familiarity with datasheets
• Knowledge of hardware design basics
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Visual Basic (VBT), or JSL.
• Exposure to developing systems using AI
• Experience with oscilloscope and logic analyzers for burn in debug
• Attention to detail and have the ability to make good decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of reliability stresses such as HTOL/ELFR/HAST/ESD
• Experience with hardware design
