What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Architect and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs as well as microservices-based solutions to support complex business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions, improving system architecture, and promoting engineering best practices.
• Optimize database schemas and queries, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance across relational and non-relational databases.
• Support DevOps and cloud initiatives by working with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth deployments and system observability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend developer.
• 4+ years of experience with Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with architecting and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, or microservices.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including monitoring/logging systems like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• English – at least B2+.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in distributed systems design and implementation.
• Knowledge of message brokers – Kafka.
