What you will do

• Define scale-up and scale-out architectures from a SoC silicon perspective.
• Translate server-level requirements such as latency, bandwidth, and RAS into SoC interconnect and IO architecture.
• Architect SoC participation in rack- and cluster-level deployments.
• Determine how system-level scale requirements impact memory hierarchy and power/clocking/reset strategies.
• Provide architectural guidance to design engineers throughout the design exploration phase.

Requirements

• Master’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SoC architecture and data center platform design.
• Deep understanding of scale-up/out system architecture and server/rack level data center systems.
• Expertise in SoC level implications of large-scale system design.
• Proven ability to bridge system-level requirements to silicon architecture decisions.
