TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (AI): Building scalable data pipelines and intelligent data systems for hirify.global Mail with an accent on cloud-native architecture, big data processing, and AI/ML integration. Location: Must have the legal right to work in Ireland. Role requires on-site attendance at the Dublin office two days per week.

What you will do

  • Contribute to AI/ML capabilities development for user personalization and insights.
  • Build scalable data solutions to identify user interests and habits.
  • Implement robust data pipelines using DataProc, Dataflow, and Composer.
  • Manage storage and streaming via Data Lake and Pub/Sub.
  • Collaborate with US-based cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions.
  • Establish data governance practices to maintain quality and compliance.

Requirements

  • Legal right to work in Ireland is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or big data processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka).
  • Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Capability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Previous experience working with email systems or high-scale communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools like Looker Studio.
  • Proficiency in using AI-driven coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
