Location: Must be based in Dublin, Ireland (requires 2 days per week on-site)

What you will do

  • Design and develop complex features for the mobile application impacting millions of users.
  • Perform peer code reviews and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to implement seamless product enhancements.
  • Write testable, reliable code and drive test-driven development practices.
  • Contribute to the deployment, monitoring, and operation of large-scale global production systems.
  • Recommend innovative technological approaches to solve complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills in Kotlin, Java, or C++.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Android framework components and application life cycles.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with mobile test-driven development tools like Espresso, Roboelectric, or Appium.
  • Must be able to work from the Dublin office 2 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience with React Native, Jetpack Compose, or Web technologies (NodeJs, TypeScript).
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot.
  • Background in mobile frameworks, SDK solutions, or AI/ML integration.
  • Experience shipping apps to the Google Play Store.
