Software Engineering (Java) (E-Commerce Core Systems): Designing and modernizing Razer Gold's scalable, high-availability Java core system with an accent on system design, automated testing, and database engineering. Focus on JVM tuning, heap dump analysis, performance testing, and migrating legacy systems to a new technology stack.

What you will do
- Design, develop, research, and implement the Razer Gold core system.
- Collaborate with product managers, partner teams, engineering functions, and business stakeholders on technical and business requirements.
- Review the team's technical designs and implementations.
- Build high-quality Java code with unit tests and automated tests.
- Investigate critical issues and drive them through to resolution.
- Help migrate the existing system to a new technology stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and implementing Java-based core systems for e-commerce.
- Experience building highly scalable, high-availability online systems.
- Hands-on experience with test automation, performance testing, JVM tuning, and heap dump analysis.
- Good understanding of garbage collection mechanisms and experience with database systems, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL.
