What you will do
- Design and develop screen recording and streaming functionality for Windows platforms.
- Implement and optimize video encoding and decoding pipelines using NVENC, AMD AMF, and Intel QuickSync.
- Apply and optimize H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 codecs for high-performance applications.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver real-time, low-latency, high-quality audio and video processing.
- Debug streaming, latency, encoding quality, and related audio/video issues.
- Track developments in video encoding standards and streaming technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of video encoding and decoding, hardware accelerators, and codecs including H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1.
- Strong knowledge of audio codecs including AAC and Opus.
- Proficiency with at least one of FFmpeg, OBS, Media Foundation, ZLMediaKit, Sunshine, Moonlight, or GStreamer.
- Knowledge of RTSP, RTMP, WebRTC, and HLS streaming protocols, plus OpenGL and Direct3D image-processing technologies.
- Strong C/C++ programming, performance optimization, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
