Senior Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Singapore office; up to one business trip per year may be required.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of robust, scalable data pipelines for AI and machine learning workloads.
• Design data architectures supporting model training, feature stores, vector databases, and real-time streaming.
• Build high-performance pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Implement data quality, lineage, security, compliance, and reproducibility practices.
• Automate data workflows and integrate them with DevOps and MLOps frameworks.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and platform teams to optimize feature extraction, data labeling, and inference pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience focused on AI/ML-driven data architectures.
• Hands-on experience with vector or graph databases, including Neo4j.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Terraform; Docker; and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Airflow or Prefect, Spark or Dask, and dbt.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of distributed computing, data mesh architectures, and next-generation storage solutions.
• Experience with network infrastructure and event-driven real-time AI inference pipelines.
• Understanding of generative AI technologies and their applications.
