TL;DR

Location: Remote, must be based in Europe and comfortable with overlap with US time zones (including evening meetings).

Salary: $4,000 – $7,000 per month.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
  • Contribute to system design and architectural decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers to define solutions and priorities.
  • Structure and guide engineering practices within the team.
  • Work across the stack (frontend, infrastructure) when necessary to unblock work.
  • Deliver tangible product outcomes rather than just focusing on feature output.

Requirements

  • Senior/Tech Lead experience in Python backend development.
  • Advanced or Fluent English (C1/C2) is required for daily collaboration.
  • Must be based in Europe to align with the core team.
  • Ability to provide overlap with US time zones for team and product meetings.
  • Strong ownership mindset and experience working in autonomous, fast-moving environments.
  • Pragmatic approach to solving problems with simple, effective solutions.

Nice to have

  • Experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Comfort working with frontend (Vue 3) and infrastructure tasks.
  • Experience in defining long-term technical direction and engineering processes.
