Location: Must be based in Ukraine (Fully Remote)

What you will do

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for banking systems.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure performance, security, and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with product teams to research and define alternative technical solutions.
  • Establish development guidelines and best practices to drive team efficiency.
  • Manage technical documentation and take end-to-end ownership of project delivery.
  • Participate in technical interviews and code challenge reviews for new hires.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Kafka, Hibernate, and MySQL 8.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of microservice architecture and scalable system design.
  • English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
  • Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, Airflow).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and DataDog.
  • Prior experience in the financial technology (FinTech) sector.
