What you will do
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for banking systems.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure performance, security, and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with product teams to research and define alternative technical solutions.
- Establish development guidelines and best practices to drive team efficiency.
- Manage technical documentation and take end-to-end ownership of project delivery.
- Participate in technical interviews and code challenge reviews for new hires.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Kafka, Hibernate, and MySQL 8.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of microservice architecture and scalable system design.
- English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
- Must be based in Ukraine.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, Airflow).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and DataDog.
- Prior experience in the financial technology (FinTech) sector.
