What you will do

• Lead sizable engineering projects and define technical roadmaps for the OJM platform.
• Design scalable backend architectures and provide technical guidance through code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-functional agile development processes.
• Develop and maintain reliable, service-based software components.
• Improve system observability, incident management, DevOps practices, and production operational workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability and performance of critical services.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience building web services on Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of Network API design (REST or GraphQL) and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and version control (Git).
• Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring and agile facilitation.

Nice to have

• Expertise in large-scale distributed systems and distributed algorithms.
• Experience with performance profiling, network services, and infrastructure monitoring (Prometheus/Nagios).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and operational automation tools like Jenkins.
• Background in functional programming or data-intensive application design.
