What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of approximately 10 software engineers specialized in embedded development.
• Improve and scale development processes across multiple international project sites.
• Serve as the lead architect for JavaCard applets within cross-functional solution teams.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, and applications engineers to define and capture product requirements.
• Ensure project quality, timely delivery, and professional resource management.
• Maintain a high standard of security-conscious development in compliance with industry certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience as a project manager.
• 10+ years of experience in embedded software development (C, C++, Java).
• 5+ years of experience managing multi-cultural, cross-site teams.
• Proven expertise as a senior member of technical staff in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Java Card and Global Platform standards.
• Experience with smart card applications (banking, transport, eGovernment).
• Background in applied cryptography and security evaluations (Common Criteria).
• PMI certification.
• German language skills.
