What you will do

• Define and execute the overall pre-event soccer trading strategy, ensuring competitive pricing, product quality, and sustainable profitability.
• Oversee market pricing, risk management, and liability exposure, maintaining an optimal balance between risk and growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of traders, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
• Partner with Commercial leadership and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between trading strategy and market-specific needs.
• Monitor daily trading results and performance metrics, communicating key insights and actions to the team.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and analytics capabilities within the trading function.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leading trading role in international environments.
• Deep expertise in pre-event soccer trading with a strong understanding of pricing models, risk management, and market dynamics.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• A strategic mindset combined with strong analytical thinking, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
