Design Engineer (Frontend)

TL;DR

Design Engineer (Frontend): Crafting and coding responsive landing pages, templates, and UI components for client operations and go-to-market initiatives with an accent on web design, growth/branding assets, and product UI. Focus on collaborating with clients on revenue-critical projects and prototyping new microsites and AI-assisted design workflows.

Location: Remote - North America. Must have ~4 hours overlap with U.S. Pacific Time (8am to 12pm PT). Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country of residence. We are not able to provide employment visa sponsorship at this time.

What you will do

• Design and build responsive landing pages, templates, and UI components.
• Lead design reviews with client stakeholders, translate feedback into rapid iterations, and demo live builds.
• Prototype new microsites, AI‑assisted design workflows, or micro‑products that can evolve into business offerings.
• Produce high‑conversion visuals—ads, motion snippets, email layouts—grounded in brand guidelines and performance data.
• Work directly with client design systems and help develop our own.
• Own pixel‑perfect execution, performance, and WCAG compliance across everything you ship.

Requirements

• Have 4+ years designing and building production‑quality web or product experiences.
• Show a portfolio that balances world-class aesthetics, clarity in interaction, and shipped code.
• Be fluent in Figma and at least one front‑end stack (React, Next.js, Webflow, or similar).
• Enjoy juggling brand storytelling with conversion‑focused growth design.
• Communicate and facilitate crisply with clients and teammates—async docs, Looms, live workshops.
• Love the blank‑canvas energy of early‑stage work and naturally turn ambiguity into prototypes.

Nice to have

• Strong motion/3D skills (Lottie, Spline), gen‑AI tooling experience, or prior ownership of a brand/design system.
