Backend Engineer (Go) (Fintech): Creating a new payment service within the ecosystem, transitioning from a minimal launch phase to scaling business initiatives. Focus on laying the foundation of the system, owning individual business areas and initiatives from research to implementation.

Location: Remote; Kyiv, Lviv, Warsaw

What you will do

Participate in creating a new payment service within the ecosystem.
Transition from a component monolith to a service and microservice architecture.
Own individual business areas and initiatives from research to implementation.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of commercial experience as a Backend Engineer with a focus on Go.
Deep understanding of Golang, experience with Kafka, gRPC, and cloud solutions.
Product mindset and ownership: understand the business goal and be able to argue solutions based on value for the business.
Culture of communication: ability to explain complex technical solutions in simple words, openness to feedback, and willingness to defend your architectural point of view.

Nice to have

Experience in fintech projects or payment systems.
