What you will do

• Build and improve security management infrastructure and tools including AWS, CI/CD, and workspace management systems.
• Perform deep-dive technical risk assessments and implement automated security monitoring.
• Manage tools for automated secure development practices and vulnerability management.
• Actively participate in incident response, including detection, containment, investigation, and recovery.
• Refine detection rules and drive continuous improvement of security practices.
• Facilitate security awareness through training and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in system and network management or compliance.
• Hands-on experience with key AWS services (IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Go, Java).
• Strong proficiency in English and Latvian (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of security standards such as CIS, OWASP, GDPR, or DORA.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Security, Security+, CEH).
