What you will do

• Develop and integrate end-to-end ASR and NLU pipelines to enable reliable human-machine interactions.
• Improve system resilience against diverse accents and real-world noise conditions.
• Optimize speech and NLP models for latency and constrained resource environments.
• Define and execute evaluation strategies for model quality and performance.
• Collaborate with QA and platform teams to ensure production-readiness for embedded systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience with speech or NLP systems and hands-on ASR/NLU pipeline knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Practical knowledge in model evaluation and dataset curation.
• Previous experience working with voice assistants or conversational systems.
• Must be able to work hybrid from Lisbon, Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with Edge AI or embedded machine learning deployment.
• Multilingual or locale-specific NLP experience.
