TL;DR

Lead Data Scientist (Fintech): Designing and maintaining data models and analytical solutions to support financial reporting and decision-making with an accent on the Microsoft BI ecosystem and strategic data architecture. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Manila. Hybrid work model requires presence in the office two days per week.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the finance data and analytics strategy to support business objectives.
• Design and maintain analytical models, datasets, and BI solutions for financial planning.
• Translate financial requirements into robust data models and semantic layers.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Microsoft BI tools for strategic reporting.
• Partner with finance stakeholders to improve data quality and challenge existing analytical assumptions.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and support complex financial modeling tasks.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data analytics, finance analytics, or BI.
• Extensive background in the Microsoft BI ecosystem (Power BI, semantic models).
• Solid proficiency in SQL and experience with Python.
• Deep understanding of Finance function processes and financial statements.
• Ability to translate complex data into business-ready financial insights.
• Initiative-driven mindset with proven capability in stakeholder management.
