What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performing team responsible for distributed orchestration infrastructure.
• Define the long-term technical vision and strategy for orchestration tools and platforms.
• Drive adoption of best-in-class workflow paradigms across data engineering and ML teams.
• Partner cross-functionally with Compute, Storage, and Analytics teams to integrate capabilities.
• Mentor and coach engineers to improve technical judgment and team ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing distributed systems teams.
• Must be a resident of the United States.
• Strong background in workflow orchestration, scheduling systems, or data infrastructure tooling.
• Experience with large-scale orchestration frameworks like Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and code quality.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
