What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and resilient software applications.
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and integration.
• Design technical solutions to solve complex, large-scale problems.
• Collaborate with a global engineering team using agile methodologies.
• Lead technical changes and provide mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Utilize optimal cloud technologies and frameworks to build robust services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Java.
• Deep understanding of the full software development life cycle.
• Experience with data processing tools, frameworks, and cloud environments.
• English language proficiency required for communication.
• Must be based in or able to work from Gent, Belgium.
