What you will do
- Own the full lifecycle of business operations, including launch, growth, and market performance in Ethiopia.
- Manage the country P&L, ensuring financial targets and key business metrics are met.
- Develop and execute market-specific strategies based on local insights and competitor analysis.
- Drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention through strategic initiatives and MVPs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, operations, and legal to scale the business.
- Represent the company locally and build strategic partnerships to strengthen market presence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ride-hailing, marketplaces, delivery, or e-commerce tech companies.
- Proven track record in managing market or country-level business performance.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency required.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
